One of the newest teams in the Gulf, the Sharjah Ladies club was formed in 2009. One of 2 all-ladies clubs in the Region, Sharjah LGFC is mainly made up of teachers working in the desert emirate of Sharjah, which is located in the UAE near to Dubai.

Since forming the club has been a regular feature at all events in the Gulf and have been finalists at many of the tournaments they have taken part in & have impressed hugely with a number of very strong players. They lost out narrowly in the Semi-Final of the A competition of the 2010 Gulf Gaelic Games to Shelmaliers Ladies from Wexford.
