Shenzhen Celts Shenzhen Celts Gaelic Football club was founded in 2003 by Shenzhen’s First Lady, Mrs. Pete Watson. Since then the club has grown to be the largest sports club in the city and hugely popular with a multitude of different nationalities. Since coming into existence the club has participated in every All China and All Asian Gaelic games and almost every time, no thanks to the men’s team, silverware has made its way back to the SZ Vault. As always, Shenzhen are approaching the Asian games with one target in mind – The Cups, both mens and womens! As we see it the only thing standing between us and the coveted title is our lack of fitness, ability, strength and depth, skill, knowledge of the game, lack of training, and the fact that we are likely to be drunk/hung-over. Being underdogs however has never been a bad thing for us in the past and again we will embrace it and use it to our advantage to topple the giants of Asian football! |
