Aidan Dockery’s photo from the Viet Celt vs Malaysia clash in Penang has been chosen as the winner of the 2009 Asian GAA photo competition.

George Hatchell, our judge wrote the following;

I HAVE PICKED THE VIET - MALAYSIA PHOTO  IT IS A VERY GOOD ACTION PIC . WELL COMPOSED  SHARP,THE DETERMINATION ON BOTH PLAYERS IS CLEARLY DEPICTED IN THE PIC AND LASTLY THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT   I ASK THE QUESTION

WOULD I HAVE LIKED TO HAVE TAKEN THIS PIC MYSELF ?     ANSWER YES DEFINITLEY

THE ONLY THING THAT BOTHERS ME IS COULD THERE BE A CONTENDER FOR MY JOB !!!!

Aidan will be awarded with his prize at the Asian Gaelic Games in Bangkok.

Aidan is from Newcastle, England and has been living in Hanoi, Vietnam on and off for 6 years. The last 2 years working as a photographer, shooting mainly weddings throughout Vietnam and South East Asia.
